  12. The SBU Faculty Profiles website is available to Stony Brook University faculty across all campuses. The new site is a single place where faculty can update and review their faculty profile. The site acts as the primary repository for several data points and aggregates data from other sources. NetID authentication is required to sign in to update a faculty profile.

It is essential to note that employees of Stony Brook University, utilizing Research Foundation or State funds, are prohibited from procuring telephone equipment, supplies, or services from local cellular service provider stores or service centers. Any requests for equipment, service, or user name changes with wireless service providers must adhere to this procedure. Personal use of the University’s mobile communication equipment and services is strictly prohibited. 

  19. Hexagon (HxGN) EAM, (formerly known as Infor EAM) is an Enterprise Asset Management system currently being utilized by Facilities and Services, Environmental Health and Safety and Campus Residences.

To prevent the inadvertent transfer of sensitive and/or personal data to unauthorized parties, the New York State Office of General Services (NYS-OGS) requires all surplus IT equipment to be cleansed of all data before disposing or repurposing. It is expected that all data be erased from the hard drive (and any other media) in such a manner that it cannot be recovered. Customer Engagement and Support can provide this service on an as-needed basis. It is recommended that when repurposing equipment (e.g. moving machines between personnel or departments), that the machine be cleaned of any University data before the swap.
