The self-service page allows staff to install a list of pre-approved software packages on their computer at their convenience. Since the packages are already approved and part of the KACE system, there is no need for the staff person to call the service desk or wait for a field technician. As long as it is a managed PC, staff have full autonomy to install the software package at their convenience. We anticipate additional self-service software packages being available in the future.
