Prepare

  1. Request (or have) a Duo Account for two-step login
  2. Before you can connect to your Windows system, your computer must be set up to allow you to connect to it remotely (you need to be in the Remote Access Group). For assistance, contact the helpdesk at 631-632-9800 or submit a service ticket.
  3. You'll also need your full computer name in This PC. Find it and email it to yourself so you have it.

Set up Remote (Home) Computer and Connect

Connect to your Windows computer from a Windows or Mac computer.
