Requesting a Google Apps Account for a New Employee or Student

New faculty and employees do not need to request an account be created as Google accounts are automatically created for them within a day of being put into the PeopleSoft system. This is when their NetID is created.

If a department adds a new employee into Pre-Employment, the account would be created before the employee arrives. Active employees and registered, eligible students have a Google Apps for Education account, whether requested or not. For new users, their Electronic Post Office (EPO) mail forwarding address is configured to point to Google Apps.
