Merging Two Courses/Sections into One in Brightspace

You will be able to merge two courses/sections into one in Brightspace IF the courses have the same start & end date and all requirements are the same.

To request that your course(s) be merged, you must submit  a request through DoIT's service portal. Before doing so, be aware that we will merge the sections listed on the ticket together. You will have a single section from which you can contact all the students in the different sections of your course.   There will only be 1 gradebook for the course.

This should only be done if:
 - the instructor(s) want the students from multiple sections interacting with one another
 - the content/topic/assignments/grading of the course will be the same for all classes merged.
 - instructor(s) understand that they will manually have to enter grades in SOLAR at the end of the semester.

Tickets will only be accepted by the instructor on file.
