Sunsetting WolfieNet-Secure

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing our campus community with secure, high-performing wireless connectivity, Stony Brook University is refreshing our on-campus Wi-Fi. Beginning July 22, 2026, Eduroam will become our primary wireless network, replacing WolfieNet-Secure. At that time, all WolfieNet-Secure content will be removed from our IT websites.

Eduroam is already available at all Stony Brook University locations, including Southampton. Instructions for how to connect can already be found in the Getting Connected FAQ section of the page linked here. Beginning July 22, 2026, Stony Brook Hospital and other East Campus locations will also transition to Eduroam.

Additional information and instructions for connecting to Eduroam will be shared with the campus community on June 22, 2026.
