New Course Materials
OpenStax is the world’s largest publisher of open education resources. Instructors who are interested in OER resources are encouraged to contact the library
Sage Vantage will be available after 1/2/25. In order to use this tool, Instructors must have a Sage account and students are required to purchase Sage textbooks.
New Features in Brightspace
Advanced Assessments help instructors manage courses with large class sizes and multiple evaluators, delegate and manage evaluator workflows, and reduce bias in marking. If you used Blackboard previously, it’s similar to delegated grading. Read more
View Grade Schemes in real time! Instructors have the ability to view the grade scheme that is applied to learners in real time, based on the grade they enter during the evaluation process. You can also choose to Hide/Show Learner View of Grade directly from the evaluation experience.

Turnitin is available in Brightspace
In October, we renewed our contract with Turnitin. Our contract includes access to PeerMark, Feedback Studio & plagarisim detection. Detailed information as well as upcoming webinar information can be found on our Turnitin Service Page
