Congratulations to Richard Von Rauchhaupt, Senior Software Engineer and Web Platform Strategist and Architect as well as Raymond Chan, Director of Application Solutions on winning a 2024 State University of New York Council for University Advancement (SUNYCUAD) Award! 

The pair worked in tandem with several members of the University’s Office of the President, HR, and Marketing & Communications Division to create the Thank a Seawolf website, where Faculty and Staff members can send and receive Gratitude Grams in recognition of their outstanding work. To date, the employee recognition initiative led by the Office of the President, has seen over 1,300 grams sent between colleagues. 

About the Award

The SUNYCUAD Awards for Excellence program rewards the best efforts of talented and creative professionals throughout the SUNY system. Juries with professional experience in the specific categories determine the winners, and judging is hosted and coordinated by colleagues from SUNY institutions.
