Logging into DoIT Supported Macs with an Internet Connection

- Connect to the Internet
- If the computer is located on campus, plug into a wired network connection.
- If the computer is off campus plug into a wired network connection, or connect to your Wi-Fi using the Wi-Fi selection in the upper right corner of the display. (NB: not all Wi-Fi access points are supported.)
- At the Sign In window, enter your Email and click Next.
- Enter your Email/NetID password and click Sign In.
- Process your Duo/two factor authentication.
- Click on Yes, this is my device.
- Click on Continue when asked to trust stonybrook.edu.
- If prompted to select an account to sync choose your old account by
- Clicking on the Connect button under your corresponding account.
- Entering the password you were using to log in with that account (most likely your Email/NetID password.)
- If prompted with: Your Microsoft Entra ID password does not match your local account password. Enter your local account password to sync your passwords, this means you/someone changed your NetID/Email password.
- Enter your old Email/NetID password and press the Sync button.
- Read the Appropriate Use Policy Reminder then check the I Agree checkbox and then click Done.
