Requesting a SeaWulf Account

SeaWulf accounts provide individual project collaborators access to the SeaWulf cluster. Accounts are linked to user's NetIDs and project numbers. To request an account under an existing project allocation, please submit a new SeaWulf account ticket to our IACS support center.

Requesting an Account

SeaWulf accounts are directly linked to project numbers. While only Stony Brook faculty and Brookhaven National Lab Staff can request a project, SeaWulf accounts can be created for all project collaborators.

To request an account under an existing allocation, please submit a ticket to our IACS support center with the following information:

  • NetID
  • Project's Principal Investigator (PI)
  • Project Number

NOTE: If you are an external collaborator and do not possess a NetID, please have your PI fill out this form and email it to Sarena Romano (sarena.romano@stonybrook.edu) to request volunteer affiliation with the IACS. Once your NetID has been created, submit an account request to our ticketing system.
