In order to obtain a Windows Product Key (e.g., Windows 10 or Windows 11) you will need to access the Microsoft Azure Education Portal. 

Please click this link: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/students and click Start free, then follow the steps below:

1. Please click Sign in options then Sign into an organization.
2. Please put stonybrook.edu under domain name then click Next.
3. Please enter your @stonybrook.edu email address then click Next Please enter your NetID password where it says "Enter password" then Next.
4. Please provide information in the academic verification form then click Verify academic status.
5. Please provide the information requested in the next form then click Sign up.
6. Please authenticate with Duo.
7. Once you are logged in, on the left-hand column under Learning Resources, click on Software. NOTE: you may need to click the down arrow to expand.
8. Click on Search in the middle column and type in the Windows version you need.
9. In the search results click on the Windows version name.
10. You can now view your product key by clicking the View Key button on the bottom right.
11. You may also download the selected version of Windows by clicking the Download button on the bottom right.
