Solstice
Mersive Solstice is a high-performance in-room collaboration platform that improves the usability and productivity of meeting and learning spaces. Solstice enables users on any device to easily share, control, and mark up content on in-room displays to drive more efficient, engaging, and productive meetings.
Solstice service has largely been restored across campus however, we are receiving reports that using the Solstice app on iPad and iPhone devices are not connecting properly. This issue is currently being investigated. Laptops and MacBooks should use share.mersive.com in a supported browser (Chrome or Edge) as per usual best practices.
Android devices via the app are working properly.
Please note that phones and tablets, regardless of manufacturer, cannot connect via browser and must use the app. Classroom Technology & Support Solutions can provide Apple mobile device users an Apple TV to wirelessly share content in place of the app. Additionally, we can provide a Barco ClickShare. Your device would require a USB-A port. Coming soon this Fall we will release a newer version which supports USB-C! Please reach out to us at classrooms@stonybrook.edu if you would like to explore one of these options.
For the best possible experience when using either the app or a browser, please make sure they have the latest updates. Check your device’s app marketplace to update the app. Browsers typically update on their own but their documentation can be checked to reference how to do so.

Solstice enables many-to-many collaboration by allowing users on any device to simultaneously share, control, and mark up content on in-room displays with superior ease of use and streaming quality. You can use an Apple, Android, or Windows device to connect to the room display.
