As a part of downloading a Windows Operating System (e.g., Windows 10) from OnTheHub, you'll need to obtain a Windows Product Key. Here's how:

1. In a browser, go to stonybrook.onthehub.com
2. In the OnTheHub Microsoft page, click Sign In (top right), which will access NetID Single Sign-on; if promtped, sign in with your NetID and NetID password and click LOGIN
3. Back at the Microsoft Products page, click on the Operating System you'd like to download, for example Windows 10
4. Click Add to Cart; then a processing message will appear and Add to Cart will change to In Cart
5. Click on Shopping Cart (1) (near the top right corner) 
6. Click on Check Out
7. The Microsoft Student Option User Acceptance Form will load. Complete the questions as required, including filling out your Contact Information on the final page

8. Once completed, your Order Summary and Order Information will display, including your Product Key and links to download the Operating System. Record the product key (e.g., TABC#-LMPES-3DHEFE-SSSHEJ-XYZS$). You will need the product key to install the Operating System
