Editing Office Files in OnBase

  1. From within OnBase after retrieving or finding a document
  2. Click on it to open the document.

  3. The document will open with the associated application inside an OnBase window.  You can use all the native application's tools.

Optimize for Compatibility Setting

For this feature to work correctly, Microsoft Office applications must be configured to Optimize for Compatibility:

  1. Open the File menu from Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
  2. Click Options and then click General
  3. Under the User Interface Options you will see an option to Optimize for Compatibility that must be checked.
