Document Management: Time Study

Departments should understand the time requirements for certain types of transactions that will take a staff member to perform.

Departments are encouraged to perform their own time studies and should include tasks like:

  • Preparing documents for scanning (e.g. removing clips, tap, staples, etc...)
  • Creating a folder
  • Updating data requirements within the system (if any)
  • Scanning 50 pages
  • Naming Documents
  • Auditing 50 pages
  • Filing scanned paperwork for monthly destruction
