The Force Behind the Scenes For nearly a quarter-century, John has been a defining engine within Stony Brook University, driving complex initiatives from abstract concepts to operational success. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a linchpin of the Enterprise Project Management Office for the last decade, John specializes in the "art of the possible." He doesn't just manage projects; he wears whatever hat is necessary to transform the university’s most ambitious ideas into tangible realities.

Orchestrator & Athlete John brings the same intensity to his downtime as he does to his projects. When he isn’t shaping the future of SBU, he trades his program manager's hat for a hockey helmet and plays competitively on multiple teams. A proud father to a college senior and a dedicated live music enthusiast, John spends his free time traveling with his fiancée and trying to break a personal record for the most concerts attended in a single year.
