As part of hosting the Cray User Group Meeting, Stony Brook University recently hosted a two-day workshop on Expanding Horizons in AI with HPC, on May 9–10, 2025.
The event, organized by Dr. Joseph Schuchart and Dr. Eva Siegmann of Stony Brook University, together with Dr. Shinjae Yoo of Brookhaven National Laboratory, was open to the public and brought together leading experts to explore the growing synergy between artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC). The workshop highlighted the significant potential of challenges of combining AI and HPC to accelerate scientific research and innovation at scale.
