Enhancing Security: Duo MFA for SOLAR Access

We are excited to announce that starting January 15, 2025, access to SOLAR will be secured with Duo Multi-Factor Authentication. This change is part of our ongoing commitment to safeguard your personal information and ensure that our systems remain resilient against unauthorized access. Duo adds an additional layer of security by requiring not just a password, but also a second form of verification, such as a mobile app notification, to confirm your identity.

Implementing Duo significantly enhances our security posture by reducing the risk of credential theft and unauthorized access. Even if a password is compromised, the attacker would still need the second authentication factor to gain access. This added security measure helps protect sensitive employee data and maintains the integrity of that data. We appreciate your cooperation and support as we continue to expand this more secure authentication method.
