DoIT Welcomes Priya Kumar as Executive Assistant

The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is excited to announce the appointment of Priya Kumar as our new Executive Assistant, effective October 17th.
Priya joins us with a strong background in executive administrative support and operations from the healthcare sector. Most recently, she served as an Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Orthopedics at Mount Sinai and as an Administrative Surgical Coordinator at Long Island Mohs Surgery. Her prior experience includes full calendar management, coordinating complex meeting and travel logistics, and demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and discretion in fast-paced environments. She also holds a Master of Business Administration.

- Serve as the first point of contact, providing high-level administrative and organizational support for the division.
- Assist the CIO and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with ongoing initiatives, gathering statistical data, and organizing group gatherings like IT Partners and DoIT All Staff Meetings.
- Coordinate personnel actions, and proactively ensure necessary follow-up on action items for the leadership team and staff.
