Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Applications and Integrations

Maryam Mirza serves as the Assistant Vice President for Enterprise Applications & Integrations at Stony Brook University. With more than 20 years of experience leading technology strategy in higher education and non-profit organizations, she is a transformative, people-first leader known for building strong cultures, high-performing teams, and advancing institutional missions through innovation and collaboration.

In her role, Maryam provides strategic leadership for enterprise applications, integrations, and data governance, a critical function that connects the University’s digital ecosystem. She oversees the design and optimization of systems that enable seamless data flow, operational alignment, and an enhanced client experience across the institution. As co-chair of the Data Governance Council, she champions the effective use of data and analytics to improve efficiency, strengthen decision-making, and support the University’s academic and administrative goals.

Before joining Stony Brook, Maryam held senior leadership roles at Stevens Institute of Technology and Nassau Community College, where she led large-scale digital transformation initiatives impacting finance, operations, and student experience. Her leadership has modernized Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management, and Learning Management Systems. She has implemented data-driven governance frameworks and advanced client engagement through service excellence and innovation.

Maryam is a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner and a graduate of the EDUCAUSE Senior Directors Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology and is an MBA in Technology Management from SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
