Faculty, Researchers and Students
VMware Academic Program
- A membership-based program designed specifically for the academic community (Qualifying Academic Institutions)
- Access to free software licenses for research (not-for-profit research projects) and academic instruction only
- Discounted licenses for campus infrastructure (IT department or other infrastructure departments of an eligible institution)
- VMware Software is available at http://stonybrook.onthehub.com under the "VMware" tab.
The VMware IT Academy Program
- No cost to join. This program introduces students to VMware technologies (e-Learning's and/or Instructor-led training courses).
- VMware IT Academy (vITA) Overview (9 mins)
- Instructor-led training courses. Provides course paths that lead to the VCP certification. Available through Pearson VUE with redeemable discount vouchers (70% off commercial cost).
