TV Broadcast & Distribution
DoIT's TLT Educational Technologies department maintains the local origination system for both the residential and hospital cable TV system. Each system has locally-originated channels (see channel lineup below) that includes satellite, electronic bulletin board, and video playback systems. Most of the residential channels are programmed by other departments, but run through the Educational Technologies system. Educational Technologies is not responsible for other programming (purchasing entertainment or news channels) or transmission (reception problems). Students experiencing problems with reception or concerns about non-locally originated programming should contact their RHD.

Satellite Downlink Services
TLT Educational Technologies provides satellite downlink services for both East and West campus and maintains two steerable C/Ku band satellites with analog and digital receivers.
Programs can be recorded for later viewing or seen live in certain presentation rooms (see below) or on the cable television system.
Most live programs delivered via satellite are one way (video and audio) with an independent mechanism for submitting questions.
This may include telephone, email or fax. Usually the program will include time for answering these questions live.
To downlink a program TLT Educational Technologies will need to know what satellite, transponder, and audio frequency the program will be on. Many programs require registratin (and a fee) before receiving this information.
