Setting up Apple Intelligence on a Macintosh

Follow these simple steps to set up Apple Intelligence on your Mac:
- Verify that your Mac is running the latest version of macOS Sequoia (macOS 15.x) and is listed as a compatible device (see the compatibility list below)
- Open the System Settings application on your Mac
- Navigate to Apple Intelligence & Siri in the Settings menu
- Select Join the Apple Intelligence Waitlist. This process typically takes a few minutes before installation becomes available
- You will receive a notification from the System Settings application when Apple Intelligence is ready to install on your device
- Once notified, install Apple Intelligence and follow the on-screen prompts to set it up and personalize it for your Mac
Note: Apple Intelligence is currently in public beta. Not all features advertised are currently available. Some features will become available in software updates in the coming months.
