Instructors should use a browser like Safari or Chrome to grade papers on an iOS device (iPhone/iPad) and not use the Pulse App for this task.  Also, the option Launch Course Homepage within the Pulse app seems to work like a browser would, yet it is still missing important Assignment-grading components that instructors need (see screenshots below).

The Pulse App is a good tool for students.  When students allow push notifications in their Brightspace settings and have downloaded the Pulse app onto their iOS devices, they get instant notifications on their phones about grades and announcements.  If their courses are designed to contain modules in Content, students can easily pull up course material to read and engage in Discussions and Quizzes, anytime and anywhere.

What component of grading Assignments is missing in the Pulse app?

In the Pulse app, instructors won't see the option to grade and provide feedback.

Instructors can grade from their iOS devices by opening a browser (like Safari) and going to brightspace.stonybrook.edu to log in to evaluate and provide feedback on students' Assignments.
