Microsoft Office 2013 Profesional Plus is now available for download from OnTheHub.com. The download is free for active students, while faculty and staff are charged a nominal fee of $9.75 for the software. In order for computers to run Office 2013, they must have either Windows 8, Windows 7, Server 2008 R2, or Server 2012 with at least 3 GB of hard-drive space and 1 GB of RAM for 32-bit machines and 2 GB of RAM for 64-bit machines.
The Office 2013 suite includes the core applications of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, and Outlook along with the unified communications application, Lync.
