Richard W. Reeder was a trusted colleague, mentor and friend to many at Stony Brook University during his tenure that expanded over 40 years.   After he passed away , his family and friends created this scholarship as educational opportunity was very important to Rich.  His legacy lives on thanks to their contributions.
