Requesting a SUNY Legacy or SMART (SUNY Portal) Account

Only the VP Coordinator of your department may make requests for an employee to have access.

You can create a service ticket by going to

  1. going to service.stonybrook.edu 
  2. selecting SOLAR, NetID and Other Accounts from the Service Catalog
  3. selecting SUNY/SMRT from the *Service (Accounts and Passwords) menu
  4. selecting New Account from the *Issue Type (Accounts and Password) menu
