ChemDraw is a program that allows users to draw chemical structures and convert chemical structures to name and vice versa.

How to Obtain This Software

Faculty and Researchers

ChemDraw is a site license software. 

Download ChemDraw

This software may also be installed on faculty, staff, and research computers provided the machine is connected to the campus network. DoIT manages a license server on campus which checks to make sure users are connected to the campus network in order to access the software.

Download Instructions
  1. Go to https://informatics.perkinelmer.com/sitesubscription/, enter your Stony Brook email address, and click Submit (see the note on the website about the best browsers to use).
  2. Search for your institution/organization name.
  3. Once you find it, click on Register under Register to download the latest version of ChemDraw.
  4. Register using your institution/organization email address.
  5. Once registered, log into the Revvity Download Center page to set up your password: https://perkinelmerinformatics.flexnetoperations.com/
    1. Click the New User Tab
    2. Enter your email address and the password you want to use.
    3. Click the Sign-Up button.
  6. Login using your email address and password to get into the download center.
  7. Navigate to List Entitlements under Activation and Entitlements to find the latest order and the activation code.
  8. Click on Download Now under downloads column to download your ChemDraw software.
