It supplies operator-assisted services to those individuals requiring larger or more high-profile teleconferences. The service is available 24/7 and can accommodate up to 125 people per conference.

InterCall is Stony Brook's preferred vendor for teleconference services. A reservation-less teleconferencing system, InterCall combines flexibility with powerful and easy-to-use features. It supplies operator-assisted services to those individuals requiring larger or more high-profile teleconferences. The service is available 24/7 and can accommodate up to 125 people per conference.

 

Rates

The rates are $.01532 per minute per person on the call. (Example: If there are five callers on a call for 20 minutes, then 5x20=100 minutes @ $.01532 = $1.53 total for that conference call).

How Can I Sign Up for an InterCall Teleconference Account?

To use this service, you must sign up online for a Reservationless-Plus account.

Simply go to www.intercall.com/sbu and click on the "Sign Up Now" link

Using InterCall Teleconference Services

You will get a welcome email within approximately 24 hours of your request submission from InterCall with your owner information and instructions

Approximately one week later, you should receive a packet in the mail with a card with your owner information and instructions on how to make a conference call

In order to maximize the cost savings, it is important that the Reservationless-Plus account service be utilized whenever practical

Other Important Information

Please note InterCall sends monthly bills to each owner directly via email, except for Hospital accounts. Hospital invoices are emailed to Louise Boyd in Hospital Accounts Payable.

All account owners can expect to receive their bills on or about the 1st of each month. Payment may be made in the following ways:

West Campus and HSC Accounts

1) You can pay by Procurement Card. Complete the credit card information on the first page of the invoice and fax it to the number provided.

2) You can pay using State Funds, IFR, and RF on WolfMart as a non-encumbered request.

3) If paying by any other source of funds, you will have to contact that area to determine what would be the payment process.

If a Hospital bill gets received by the owner and you are paying with your Hospital account starting with a "3," bills should be emailed directly to Louise Boyd in Hospital Accounts Payable. Please include your cost center on the request for payment to be made.
