Google rolled out free unlimited storage in Google Drive and Gmail on the Stony Brook domain on Oct. 30, 2014.

Store as many Google Drive files and Gmail messages as you need. As of Oct. 30, 2014, all Google Apps for Education customers at Stony Brook University get free unlimited storage across Drive and Gmail.

You can also save and share much bigger files. Individual file sizes up to 5TB are now supported.
