In honor of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, Stony Brook University Senior IT Security Analyst Matthew Nappi became a published guest blogger for the EDUCAUSE Review on Oct. 12, 2015. His blog post titled "Keep Your Digital Home Secure in the 21st Century" challenges us to take a close look at what kinds of precautions we take in our own personal computing environments and encourages us to use modern, up-to-date approaches.

EDUCAUSE Review is EDUCAUSE’s open-access digital and bimonthly print flagship publication for the higher education IT community. With 22,000 distributed copies, the print magazine takes a broad look at current developments and trends in information technology, how they affect the University, and what these mean for higher ed and society. The online version comprises more comprehensive coverage, including the content of the print magazine plus peer-reviewed articles, practical advice and guidance, interactive elements, and multimedia about managing and using information resources in higher education.
