In an effort to address the growing need for more study spaces on campus, Henry Joseph and Keith Bradley from Campus Residences and their team developed a collaborative work area for students in the lobby between O'Neill and Irving Colleges in Mendelsohn Quad.

This new collaborative work area is fully equipped with:

  • Glassboards that can be written on with markers
  • HDMI/VGA cables
  • Charging cables
  • A/C Power outlets
  • Comfortable seating

The space is open for use by all students, and is monitored by 24/7 security cameras to ensure it remains a safe space for students to study and collaborate. Funding for this collaborative study area was provided by the Division of Campus Residences. There are plans to expand these collaborative spaces equipped with glassboards and supporting technology to other campus residential areas.
