Stony Brook University held its fall 2016 campus Involvement Fair on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 to show students the different departments, clubs and organizations present on campus. Members of DoIT attended the event to educate students about IT services on campus and also to listen to what students had to say about technology at Stony Brook.

'Say Something About Technology' responses

Students were asked to provide feedback on IT services, their experiences with technology on campus and what they'd like to see improved or kept the same. To view the responses from students you can review this PDF Document.

Technology Triage

During the involvement fair, students with issues related to connectivity, viruses and other in-depth support questions were directed to the technology triage table in the commuter lounge in the Melville Library.  Rich Stein, Academic Technology Services, and members from the Client Support team and TLT student employees assisted more than 60 students.
