Mobile/Digital Now Faculty Community Series, From Wired to Wireless: The Mobile Technology Ecosystem at Stony Brook
Hosted by the Faculty Center.

The proliferation of mobile devices has presented the university community with challenges and opportunities that require the coordination of multiple constituencies, chief among them its faculty. For the first meeting in our Mobile/Digital Now Faculty Community event series, we invite faculty to join our colleagues from the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) for a discussion about the mobile technology environment at Stony Brook. Questions to kick us off will include: What is the state of our campus infrastructure for accommodating mobile devices? What is your vision for the integration of mobile technology in your courses where you deem appropriate, and what technical resources will you require to achieve your goals? We welcome your contributions to this ongoing dialogue.

Join us in Frey Hall Room 313 on February 24, 2016 between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
