In order to accommodate the increased load on our Blackboard servers with classes moving to online delivery, DoIT is in the process of migrating all Blackboard content to new servers with increased capacity, and as a result, Blackboard will be offline for approximately 24 hours next week.

From 9:00pm EST Monday, March 23rd to 9:00 pm EST, Tuesday, March 24th, Blackboard will be unavailable. Please know that this is a necessary move to ensure that we have capacity to serve the campus during this crisis. The application is not being updated, Blackboard functionality will not change.

Tools that can be accessed during Blackboard Maintenance:

All of our recorded webinars and training materials will be available on our Keep Teaching website. There are many resources including links to OER Resources available through the library and accessibility resources.

You can also set up an appointment with a member of CELT to review your syllabus or one of the tools above. Please email celt@stonybrook.edu with a couple of good dates and times (including weekends) and we will send you a Zoom meeting invite.

Thank you for your patience and for all you are doing for our students!
