Digital Desk users:      Directions can be found on the OPSCAN website for how to send grades from  Digital Desk to Blackboard (or Brightspace)

If you are not using the centralized Opscan service available in the Melville Library....

  1. In order to upload your OPSCAN scores into Grade Center you must save both the Opscan file and the Grade Center file to your computer
  2. Upload both into our File Merger program. This will merge the 2 files into 1 new file called grade.csv.
  3. Upload this new merged file into Blackboard’s Grade Center.

Please note: Downloading your Grade Center and converting your Opscan results to a CSV file on a Mac is NOT the same as doing so on a Windows computer.  To avoid common errors and for the best results, download, save, merge and upload CSV files to your Grade Center from a Windows computer.
