Uploading edTPA Materials to Digication

Candidates will upload and submit edTPA materials (e.g., video lessons) using Digication. Candidates can upload materials at anytime but will need a Pearson Authoriziation Key in order to submit them for scoring.

Be sure to review the edTPA for Candidates site prior to beginning. 

Uploading Files to Digication

  1. Log in to Digication using NetID and NetID Password.
  2. Under My Courses, click on the course you need to upload edTPA materials to
  3. From in the course, you'll notice a series of tabs across the top. Click on EdTPA
  4. If you already have Active edTPA Materials, you'll see the topic name and a percentage complete. Click on the topic name (for example English as an Additional Language).
     If not, start new edTPA Materials:
    1. Click on the blue button to add new edTPA Materials on the left
    2. Select National from the Select edTPA Handbook dropdown
    3. From the National dropdown, select the appropriate handbook
    4. Click Begin
  5. Each of the Parts of the three Task areas has an upload file button upload a file button. For the Task and Part you want to upload a file for, click the upload a file button (note that allowed file types specified for each Task/Part)
  6. Either drag files into the box or use the Choose File button to upload, being sure you are choosing an allowed file type (see step 8)
  7. Once uploaded, that Task/Part will show the uploaded file. To upload a different file, simply click remove to remove the existing file and upload a new file.
  8. Continue to upload necessary files for all Tasks/Parts
