Running SBConnect in Unsafe Mode

By default, Safari 6.1 and later open media in Safe Mode, which prevents SBConnect (Adobe Connect) add-ins from working properly.  You can force you computer to open the SBConnect add-ins by changing your settings to 'unsafe mode' for SBConnect.

To change your settings, follow these steps:

1. With the SBConnect website (https://meeting.sinc.stonybrook.edu) open, click Safari in the upper-left and choose Preferences

2. Under Security, click Manage Website Settings...

3. Select the SBConnect website from the list of open websites and choose Run in Unsafe Mode from the drop-down menu

4. In the alert window that appears, click Trust

5. Click Done and close the preferences window

6. Refresh the page to enable the changes
