Receiving an Email When a Respondent Submits a Survey in Qualtrics

Email Trigger for Received Responses

Near to top left, click Tools > Triggers > Email Triggers...

  1. Fill out the fields, paying specific attention to the following:
    • To Email Address: [who the email should go to when a survey is submitted]
    • Subject: [use a descriptive subject to allow recipients of triggers to adequately filter these messages in their email system]
    • Message: [write a descriptive message to remind recipients what this message is for and what to do with it if necessary]
    • Check Include Response Report and Show Full Question Text to include survey questions and answers in the body of the message 
  2. Click Save Triggers when finished.
