Logging in and Creating an ePortfolio from a Course Template

  1. Go to https://stonybrook.digication.com

  2. Click the green "Login" button on the top left of the page.

  3. Enter your NetID and password.

  4. On the left side of the page is a bolded heading titled "My ePortfolios". Click the green plus sign, which is the "create" symbol. 

  5. Enter your name in the "Title of Your ePortfolio" box. Under "e-Portfolio Web Address", click "Edit" and type in an appropriate web address (such as your name).

  6. Underneath "Choose a Template", click the template that corresponds to your class or program. If you do not see your template, click the "More Templates" link.

  7. Under "Permissions", click "Public". This will allow your ePortfolio to found in a Google search.

  8. Under "Tagging", click "Allow Tags". This will allow your ePortfolio to be easily grouped by instructors and faculty.

  9. Click the green "Create New e-Portfolio" button.

  10. You should now have an ePortfolio with the "Sections" and "Pages" that your instructor has designed for you.
