Support for Digication ePortfolios is provided by both TLT and Digication; all you have to do is ask!

If you're having trouble with your Digication ePortfolio and aren't sure how to resolve it, there are a few different places to get help.  Both Digication and TLT can help with 'how-to's' and using the actual system, while course/assignment-specific questions should be directed to your instructor.  If you need help with the content of your ePortfolio (not related to a specific course/assignment), you can also contact the Career Center.

Digication

Digication maintains a support website with step-by-step instructions for virtually everything you can do in Digication.  Here, you'll find detailed instructions on everything from adding simple text, to customizing the look and feel of your ePortfolio.  Digication also has a support team to help with questions related to the use of their system.

Digication's help website can be accessed here, and they can be reached by phone at 1.888.342.DIGI (342.3444) or by email at support@digication.com.

Public Workshops

TLT offers a variety of technology workshops to Stony Brook University students at no additional charge.  These technology workshops are taught by Student Consultants and are tailored specifically to the needs of Stony Brook University students.  Digication ePortfolios is one of many workshops offered.

A comprehensive list of scheduled workshops can be found here.

In-Class Workshops

Faculty can request to have a TLT Student Consultant visit their class for a brief ePortfolio workshop.  During these sessions, students will get a crash course in how to get started in Digication, set up pages/sections, add some content and create links to their work on Google Drive (if applicable).

To request an in-class ePortfolio workshop, click here.  Please note, deadlines for requesting an in-class ePortfolio workshop change every semester, so please plan ahead!

Getting Help in a SINC Site

During open lab hours, all SINC Sites are staffed with Student Consultants that can assist students with ePortfolio basics which includes creating an ePortfolio, adding pages/sections, adding modules, etc.  Student Consultants can provide basic troubleshooting for Digication issues, but cannot assist with the creation and editing of content, especially if the content is for an academic course/assignment.

If students need help with or have course/assignment-related questions students can contact their instructor.  Also, for assistance with content not related to a course/assignment, students can visit the Career Center for help with creating a positive online presence.

Students can also contact the TLT Student Help Desk for help with ePortfolio basics.  The TLT Student Help Desk can be reached by phone at 631.632.9602, by email at helpme@stonybrook.edu, and by live chat.
