Downloading a Copy of Student Grades from Blackboard to Excel

Why should I save a copy of my grades from  Blackboard?

Saving a copy of your Grade Center in Excel allows you to easily access and check the individual grades for a student and not just the overall score that was reported to the Registrar.

To download a copy of your Full Grade Center:

1. Log into Blackboard and click on the title the course that you would like save a copy of your grades from.

2. In the Control Panel Click on Grade Center, then click on Full Grade Center in the menu below.

3. Click Work Offline on upper right corner above the spreadsheet. In the menu that appears click Download.

4. Under Select Data to Download make sure the toggle is set to: Full Grade Center.

5. Under Options change the Delimiter Type to Comma, and Include Hidden information to Yes.

6. Save Location should be set to My Computer.

7. Click Submit.

8. Click Download. Your browser will prompt you to download the file. You can save this to your computer, a external hard drive, flash drive or burn it to a CD. The file you have saved will open in Excel and you will have a copy of your grades that you can check after the course has been completed.
