Creating Folders in Blackboard

Many instructors use folders to organize content by date or topic, like a virtual filing cabinet.

1. Select any Content Area (Documents, Assignment) from the course menu. 
2. Select Build Content, then Content Folder.

3. Enter a name (required) and description (optional) of the folder in the boxes provided.
4. Set visibility options, then click Submit
5. To open the folder, click on its name.
6. Select Build Content, Create Assessment, Add Interactive Tool, or Assign Textbook to add the desired content to your folder.
