Student data  will be stored for a period of 3 years using the K16 Archive solution after October 2023.

The content archived will include:

  • Enrollment Information
  • Student Submissions
  • Discussions & Replies
  • File Attachments
  • Assignments
  • Quizzes
  • Feedback
  • Gradebook

Requests for archives can be made by creating a ticket at service.stonybrook.edu.  Archives appear as PDF or screenshot format only.

To avoid receiving PDF or screenshot archival files, export your course materials before you lose access to Blackboard.  If you do not see an old course in Blackboard, create a ticket to have it activated so you can create an export package to import into Brightspace.
