Connecting a Kindle Fire to WolfieNet-Secure

Please ensure that all updates are done on the device prior to attempting to configure the Kindle Fire for access to WolfieNet-Secure. You should be able to use WolfieNet-Open to obtain the updates if you are on campus.

  1. From the Kindle Fire, click on the Network icon (upper right hand corner)
  2. Choose WolfieNet-Secure
  3. Click Advanced on the Join Wi-Fi Network
  4. Make sure your configuration settings are as follows:

EAP Method: PEAP

Phase 2 Authorization: MSCHAPv2

Server CA Cerf:  Unspecified

User Certificate: Unspecified

Identity:  NetID username

Password:  NetID password

Anonymous Identify should be left blank

Check the "Save Identity and Password" checkbox

Click "Connect"
