What is the Grade Center?

Blackboard’s Grade Center is a spreadsheet where instructors enter student grades and Blackboard calculates the totals. Students access their grades via the My Grades tool. Each student may only view his or her own grades, and do not have access to their classmates’ grades.

NOTE: Grades in Blackboard’s Grade Center are NOT sent to SOLAR at the end of the semester. Instructors must enter their final grades separately in SOLAR. Blackboard’s Grade Center is used to keep track of grades throughout the semester, rather than only at the end.
