Blackboard Ally helps to make content more accessible for student and faculty members. Ally converts content in Blackboard into accessible formats and alerts Faculty members to change content that is not accessible.

Alternative accessible formats

Automatically checks for accessibility issues and generates alternative accessible formats using advanced Machine Learning algorithms. These accessible formats can be accessed by students from their Blackboard sites by clicking on the drop down arrow next to a document link.

Instructor feedback

Guides instructors on how to improve the accessibility of their course content and alter future behavior. Every document uploaded to Blackboard is given an accessbility score. Instructors can click on these scores to see how their documents are rated and what they can do to improve the scores and make their information more accessible to students.
