Students must first enroll in a Digication Course either by themselves or by the instructor. The student may add their ePortfolio to the Digication Course, which makes the student's eportfolio viewable to the instructor. If your instructor has indicated that you need to add your ePortfolio to a specific course on Digication, follow these steps:

1. Log into Digication using your NetID and NetID password, you will be taken to your Digication Home Page. If you are enrolled in a course, it will be shown under My Courses. If there is not a course under this area, you need to first enroll in a Digication Course.

2. Next, click the title of the eportfolio you want to add to your course under My e-Portfolios.

3. In the upper-right corner of your screen, click Portfolio Tools and choose Settings.

4. Under Permissions, click Custom Permissions .

5. In the text box for Additional Permissions, type in the name of your course (and click the title when it appears).

6. Set the Role.

  • Viewer: can view your ePortfolio
  • Editor: can edit your ePortfolio but not publish changes
  • Publisher: can edit and publish your ePortfolio
  • Admin: can edit content, settings and publish changes for your ePortfolio

7. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save.

8. To view that you have succesfully added your eportfolio in the course, go to Home and click on the course title under My Courses.

9. Click on the e-Portfolios tab to view who has added their eportfolio to the Digication course.
