Items are individual pieces of content, that can be documents uploaded from your computer or a block of text typed directly into Blackboard.
1. Select any Content Area (Information, Documents, Assignments, etc.) from your course menu.
2. Select Build Content, then Item.
3. Enter a Name (required), then any accompanying Text (optional).
4. To attach a document from your computer, select Browse My Computer. Select Browse Course to upload your document to Files, then add it to your item. Repeat this step to add multiple documents.
5. Set visibility options, then click Submit.
6. Your item will display in your Content Area. If you attached a document, it will be linked beneath the item’s name.
