The tabs on the top of the 25Live homgepage allows you to conduct advanced searches of locations, resources, events, and organizations.

  1. From the 25Live home page, select a tab (Events, Locations, Resources, Organizations, Tasks) at the top of the page

  2. Type a keyword in the Search by Keyword box (if available) and select Go 

    Or select the tab for Advanced Search to enter multiple search options

    1. Click Add Criteria to add a search criterion (for example for location searches, features, maximum capacity, layouts)

    2. For each criterion, select whether to Include All, Include Any, or Do Not Include. Then select edit pencil icon and check off items for that criterion, and click Done (for example, for the criterion Features, you might select Incluce All and AV - Instructor Station and Board - Whiteboard to find a location with both features)

    3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to add additional criteria or select red x delete criterion to remove a criterion
    4. To save this advanced search for later, select Save, type a name for the search, and then click Save again
    5. Click Search! to display matching results
  3. Results will display in one of three views (select the List, Availability, or Calendar tab at the top to change views):

    Tip: If you need to use an item regularly, star it by selecting the star icon star icon to the left of an item's name in List or Availability view. Starred items will show up under favorites on the home page (note that too many starred items will slow down load time of your homepage)

  4. To modify the search, change criteria on the top and select Search! to modify the results
  5. Select an item's name (e.g., Frey 100) to view more information. Then select tabs at the top (Details, list, Availability (Daily), Availability (Weekly), Calendar) to change views

  6. Wherever you see the create an event icon, you can create an event; hold your mouse over an available date and time to reveal create an event for specific dates/times

  7. Select create an event to start the event wizard

    When an event is started this way, the information from your search (e.g., room, time, resource details) will already be populated
